Thousands Line Up to Adopt Wall-E the Miracle Puppy

Wall-E survived attempts to be euthanized and now he needs a home.

A puppy and six of his brothers and sisters were put to sleep by an animal shelter in Oklahoma. But one of them proved to be a miraculous puppy. When an animal control officer returned the following day to pick up the euthanized puppies, one of them was still alive.

A little girl named that puppy Wall-E, after the Disney movie of a lone surviving robot, and Wall-E’s legend is growing. Wall-E first appeared on an adoption website and recently was on Good Morning America. Now, those in custody of the puppy are receiving thousands of e-mails and phone calls from those interested in adopting the miracle puppy Wall-E.

According to a report on ABCNews.com, one of the people who has helped watch the miracle puppy received 2,000 e-mails inquiring about Wall-E.
