Ellen Degeneres and Iggy
I am sure everyone has seen and heard about Ellen DeGeneres and her puppy Iggy. I am not sure what to make of this story - I agree with both sides. I just think it has been blown way out of proportion since the media got a hold of it and we have to learn from this experience as pet owners.

The Iggy news cycle finished sometime Sunday night. With the exception of a few Johnny-come-latelys, the issue no longer has the emotional tug it once did. I say this as someone who entered the fray early and was very interested in the outcome. Hopefully, Ellen's decision to feature a dog rescue segment on her show today will help the healing process begin.
