Six pet stores in Georgia were shut down after puppies there were widely infected with a parasite called Giardia, which can easily be transmitted to humans. The Pet Company, which is based in New York, is being accused of selling sick puppies and according the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's website, will be dealt with harshly by the state.
